Robert Chen is a wetlab scientist in team Immunology focused on building Cartography’s scientific operations and advancing our CAR-T proof of concept assets. Some projects he has played a role in have been: streamlining our validation strategy for new targets, outfitting our Chess Drive facility, and pushing custom binders through our synthetic biology pipeline to functional readouts. Prior to starting at Cartography, Robert created novel circular RNA therapeutics during his PhD at Stanford. In his free time, he enjoys elaborate cooking and fermentation projects, long runs in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and organizing camping treks.
