Avi is a Senior Research Associate at Cartography Biosciences, and works within Antibody Engineering to generate targeted therapeutics and characterize them. He comes from a Formulation & Analytics background during his time as a Research Associate at Harpoon Therapeutics, where he utilized a suite of analytical instruments to characterize lead proteins and experimented with varying buffers & excipients to increase protein stability. Avi received his B.Sc. in Bioengineering from UC Merced, where he worked a research assistant in the Muñoz Lab focused on Protein Engineering. If you can’t find him in the lab, you’ll likely find him relaxing with family, sweating on a hike, or finding another wine to enjoy.
